Church.
It’s the people.
It’s God’s temple.
It’s more than the building,
We give him glory by worshipping.
Trying to be humble,
Escaping the world’s bubble.
We are the church’s youth,
Coming to church for truth.
For some spiritually-filling food,
Cos worldly life ain’t good.
We want to pray,
Sometimes we’re Satan’s prey.
Church keeps us on the ground,
Otherwise, we would have drowned.
The devil tempts us every day,
But we come, sing and pray.
Church every week,
Strengthens the weak.
Choosing God is a daily choice,
To Him, we raise our voice.
To Him we gaze,
He deserves all praise.
Church gives us a community,
Where everybody’s got an opportunity.
We worship and learn,
The fire we yearn.
The King of kings is who we serve,
To be like you, O Lord, we strive.
Everything He has given,
For His beloved children.
He died on the cross,
His grace has saved us.
We are His disciples,
To reach more people.
We are the next generation,
He’s given us the mission.
To the creator, the most Holy,
We commit and give ourselves fully
In us He trusts,
In Him we trust.
Where few of us gather,
He is at the centre.
Use us.
Mould us.
We are your church.
