Worship is here and now
Worship is giving your all
Pouring out your heart to God
When down on your knees you fall
Worship to young children
Is singing ‘Jesus Loves Me’
Watching Christian movies
Like Joseph King of Dreams
Worship to teens
Could be listening
To modern Christian songs
As they go to sleep
Worship to youth
Might be finding out truth
Looking for proof
Of their biblical views
Worship to a grown-up
Could maybe just be
Kneeling and praying
Down on their knees
Spending time with God
Dwelling in his sanctuary
Singing songs of praise
This is worship to me
It doesn’t matter what you say
Or if you speak at all
If God is really on your mind
He will hear your thoughts
God loves you
No matter what you do
And when you worship him
He looks down and he grins.
