Dusty roads and crimson skies
Early mornings and tired eyes
Sunrise at dawn and coffee in hand
God bless this rural land
The children’s smiles from ear to ear
Their laughter; no purer sound to hear
Dirty fingernails and paint in hair
No one cares about glamour flair
Tears in the eyes of the elderly folk
And don’t forget about that bloke
Who said Storm Co was what he needed, To show him love and bring him back to Jesus
I won’t forget this trip, the taste of the outback still on my lips
I’m excited for more adventures like this
It’s a chance of a lifetime you don’t want to miss
Service to others really matters
Amid the time of all the chatters
Friends were made to last forever
As we ventured on our endeavour together.
