The guilty and convicted man
Finds solace in the knowledge
That a guiltless yet convicted man
Can accept a sinner’s devotion

The husband always working
The mother who restlessly cleans
Both seem to find life’s meaning
In their daughter’s love for Jesus

A scared and stressed uni student
Discovers the peace she has needed
In a comical series of doodles
Depicting biblical stories of Jesus

With last breaths being breathed
An ‘I do’ is whispered aloud
As heaven rejoices loud indeed
For a new soul stands Christian and proud

A new beginning is a loose term
I am starting to slowly understand
Not necessarily a Big Bang
But could possibly portray a slow burn

The omniscience of Christ
Gives room for many mistakes
For God’s omnipotent power
Presents a chalk and clean slate

Windows of opportunities
Doors miraculously opening
We give all thanks to God,
For only He gives new beginnings
