It’s nearing closer and closer to Christmas! And you know what that means – time to get your playlist for Christmas day in check.

If you are wanting to create the ultimate song list, here are some of my own personal tips to assist you:

Tip 1: Contain a well rounded variety of festive tunes which ALL family and friends can enjoy.
Tip 2: Have enough songs, to avoid too many song repeats.
Tip 3: Include songs for different vibes. For example, play upbeat music when the energy in the room is high and exciting (usually in the beginning to the middle of the event) and have music prepared for when the atmosphere is mellow and everyone begins to wind down from the craziness of it all.

The more genre’s and songs, the better!  Here are some classic and not so classic tracks that will be blasting on my Christmas day:

  1. All I want for Christmas is you – Mariah Carey

A classic that everyone can sing along to.

2. Mary did you know – Pentatonix

A rendition of a song that we all know and love

3. O come all ye faithful – Katinas

A song to remind us about who and what this day is about.

4. Mistletoe – Justin Bieber

A song for the romantics.

5. This Christmas – Chris Brown

9. Sleigh Ride – TLC

A song to keep the energy high.

10. O come let us adore him –Hillsong

These songs are sure to lift anyone’s Christmas spirit and create a fun-loving atmosphere for this wonderful time of year. If you follow my tips, whether young or old, everyone should be able to enjoy your playlist.

May your Christmas be filled with happy tunes and lots of love.
