During these last few days, we have taken time to remember Jesus and the ultimate sacrifice of God. For one to lay down his life for those that persecuted him and rejected him is an unfathomable act, which only one that truly understands love and exudes love can do.
Not only did Jesus die a human death for His children, but He also rose again on the third day. He defeated death a state which the devil would like us to believe is the end all be all of humanity. Jesus showed evil that there is nothing that he can not overcome.
During this time we remember and celebrate the victory of our Father in Heaven. The one who defeated death and overcame sin, for US.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
John 10:11
The shepherd who will leave the 99 to save the 1. The shepherd who wants all his children to be saved when he returns again. The shepherd that loves his flock so much that he would die for them.
That shepherd is your Father, Jesus, and he is calling out for you to return to his flock.
