They say blood is thicker than water,
But why is it that the ones you love,
Are the ones so quick to judge?
They say they love you but is it real
Or fake just like the actions they portray

Why is it when surrounded by loved ones,
We feel less important,
Why is it that every time you try,
You’re always feeling fried,
Left with so many questions on your mind
You say to focus and hold on,
But so quick to judge,
If something goes wrong,
Maybe that’s why we tend to hold back,
From allowing ourselves to truly fall in love
Love they say, what do you know about it?
You’re still too young, you don’t even know what love is,
But love ain’t just a feeling it goes deeper than that
Cause actions speak louder when words make you fall apart.
