You are stuck in a box, damp and dark. Everyone is amused, but all you are is confused, life is a box of unsavoury motion. Everyone tells you to use “fix it-lotion.”
You try, and you try to do what they say, but your feelings worsened every day. Your happy thoughts filled with colour and excitement turn to a dark, grey, scary environment. People look down on you in every season. You try to talk, but they don’t want to reason. You feel your confidence being taken away every day. It’s so easy to see the erosion. Everyone says, just use “fix it-lotion.”
Life such a struggle. You go so unnoticed you’d be easy to smuggle. This invisibility is just another thing you have to juggle. People who can’t see you, all the people who are the issue, come right back now in oceans, they tell you use “fix it-lotion.”
You’re stuck you’re trapped, you may as well be bubble wrapped, glued to the floor you can’t reach the door. Your life such a horror, you must add something else. Something else to store, something else to save, something that will go noticed once you’re in the grave. People that watch and leave you frozen just tell you use “fix it-lotion.”
You probably wonder what is this lotion, you rub all over your skin, this “fix it-lotion.” This thing you give all your devotion, it seems to be broken. Or is it mislabelled, a fake or a fraud? Now please hold that thought. It’s more of an explosion than a lotion. It consumes your life, and hurts like a blade or a knife. This lotion I speak of represents something else, so tighten your belts while I give you some wisdom, explain how you’re stuck in an extremely scary system.
The “lotion” represents a game. Where you try and try to strive for fame. You are willing to do almost anything to build yourself a name, but you’re just a picture in someone else’s frame. It represents how you try to be funny, but all people say is “you need more money.” People stare if your nose is runny, but will crowd around if you have money.
The “lotion” represents what people want you to be. So, I want you to tell me, will you take and use this lotion? Or be yourself and throw it to the ocean. The choice is yours and only yours, will you bite at people’s lures? Follow their path? It’s much easier, but ends in a blood bath.
They realise that all they are chasing is each other’s tailings. When they look back on their life and all they see are their failings. They scrape like angry rakes. They pull and do whatever it takes to get to a place, too high are the stakes. It’s too late. They left it to fate. Their life should have been great, but they spent it being critical, political, their life may as well have been hypothetical.
Is that where you want to be? Because that’s not what I particularly want for me. Future generations will come and go, the question is what did you do to help them grow?
Matthew 6:20-21
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
