Seeing other people’s lives
Cars and lights flashing by
I feel we’re running out of time
To think about Jesus’ sacrifice
As the Son of God there was
Something he was given
To be made with precision
He received a decision
He could sacrifice himself
To save undeserving people
Or he could simply leave us be
To follow sin and be sheeple
I see Jesus as a selfless being
He knew what he’d be choosing
And so without hesitation
Jesus died for his creation
As a loving guardian
Jesus took the time
To spend a life on Earth
Knowing why he would die
The man we know as Jesus Christ
Willingly became a sacrifice
All in order for you and I
To happily live our lives
My role model
And comforter
Jesus Christ
The carpenter
