It was two years in the making
At least now there’s no faking
I’m grateful God intervened
My soul now feeling cleaned

It took two to tango
Outcome not pretty like Van Gogh
Should have listened to the One upstairs
He’s the only one that truly cares

Appearance can be a trap
If they talk slick it’s all cap
But if they choose to pray
Try put your heart on display

Converse first and get to know
Ask God to help make it flow
It might take a minute until a ring
In the meantime invest in the King

With Jesus in the centre
Possibilities are just like polenta
Love is meant to be forever
Have faith together

Without Him there’s more hurt
Some lessons have to be learnt

Singleness is a gift
Flour is better with a sift
It’s okay not to find
It’s more important to be kind

Single pringle
Not trying to mingle
From two to one
I’m still in love with somebody’s Son
