Whether it’s by yourself,

Trying to find your ‘self’.

Or just with others,

Together as brothers and sisters.

Worship is when we come before our Lord,

Before Him, His grace is greatly awed.

We don’t worry about our flaws,

From Him, the love pours.

We come imperfect,

We are His project.

We come as we are,

‘Cos He is our superstar.

Forgetting about our life,

He takes away our strife.

From being sad and broken,

The stress and anxiety is taken.

For us, sinners, He died,

And now His name’s glorified.

We sing songs about His greatness,

Without Him, life is meaningless.

The lyrics and the music,

Praising He who is majestic.

Singing at the top of one’s voice,

To Him and only Him, we rejoice.

An overwhelming feeling of the Spirit,

The joy that fills is infinite.

We kneel in prayer,

To Him we anchor.

We seek his abundant companionship,

That is why we worship.
