He was chosen to:
Proclaim good news to the poor,
Set the captives free,
And give justice to a suffering humanity.
My Creator was chosen to restore, reclaim,
And renew a lost world.
I was chosen:
To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him.
To give hope,
Be His hands and feet,
And to be creative.
I was chosen to connect with a broken world.
He chose the cross.
In humility and selflessness, He took the risk.
With sins piled high on His shoulders, He was
Rejected, shunned, misunderstood and hated,
Yet free will He imparted.
Eternity impacted forever.
I chose: “My will be done.”
Pride and selfishness desensitised His pursuit of my heart.
Burdened by the weight of my sins
I was left blemished, empty and hurting
Living for instant gratification.
Patiently He waited,
Pursuing my soul,
Day
After
Day.
Broken, I chose to accept His gifts of:
Forgiveness
A new heart
And peace.
With confidence, I can now say I am:
Beautiful
Chosen
Free
And loved.
His.
