Courage broke the shackles of fear
That once held me captive, afraid
That one so Great, would ever notice me
However, indeed, He did

Courage took off the blindfold
And lifted up my eyes
To gaze upon the One
Who knows all, sees all, loves all

Courage held my hand
When it saw me weakly fall yet again
It did not mock, it did not boast
It chose to purely carry me through.

Courage has not always been in my life
I had to ask for it from the One
Because my bravery is never enough
But courage from Him is, over fear.
